Subject: Non construction of proper drain in B -14 lane in DLF Phase 1, Gurugram
Dear Sir,
We, the residents of B-14 lane DLF Phase -1, Gurgaon would like to inform you that rainwater entered many homes in the lane after rains on 19 August, 2020 and caused considerable damage to vehicles and property including furniture, beds, carpets, generators, gates, electronic items and many more.
This was after repeated petitions to DLF and Municipal authorities to address the issue and construct a proper drain and connect it with the main sewer line on Golf Course Road. A temporary drain was built in 2016 but is no longer functional because of new construction of houses in the lane. DLF has not taken any action on these builders who have blocked the drain so far. In addition, DLF authorities have not cleaned the sewer lines in this lane. This caused all dirty sewer waste to enter our houses including kitchen. We have been falling sick since then and it is high time authorities take needful action on our concern. Every year every household has been spending around 2 lakhs to repair all those items which gets spoilt by the dirty rainwater. This is in addition to the mental agony that we go through every year during the monsoon season.
There was also a death caused due to flooding in 2014 in our lane. Are we waiting for more deaths for some action to take?? We request you to take immediate action on the matter and instruct the officials to complete the construction of a proper permanent drain in Lane 14. We will be forced to take this issue to the Honorable High Court if it is not dealt with immediately.

the tanker did not reach at 11 am as was told by the dept.
There is half connection in lane s/53 our’s is connection problem our connection is with s/54 which is wrong
s-53/27 till s-53/32 no proper connection with main direct straight s /53 lane so no water from last so many months action asap should be taken please check and confirm and help us all there is absolutely no water.
