I am writing to you after going thru a lot of agony and Pain.I foreclosed policy no 19612254 against which I have an official mail from ICICI PRULIFE dated 2nd Dec 2020 that the due Payment has been authorised and the funds will get credited to my ICICI SB Account within a day or 2. Till date the amount due ( even after considering the principle outstanding due on a loan with Bajaj finserv , interest for which has already been paid to Bajaj Finserv) is not credited and neither the branch nor the ICICI PRULIFE OFFICE and Customer Care Executive have been able to give any answer.
The Same ICICI Bank bended their back at the time of luring me into buying the policy.
I am being made to beg for my own money and am running from Pillar to post to get the funds credited. All this after getting an official mail from ICICI that the amount will get credited in 2 working days.

I am also 1 of the customer who cheated by ICICI lombard. They have deducted huge ammont from my account for policy of others person. I am Continuosly taking follow up by mail and even by call. Iciciprulife customer service executives came to my residence and convinced Rs.2.0 and Rs.1.0 insurance policies and I had faced a serious problem due to Pandemic I had to close my company and added to that I had undergone total hip replacement surgery. Eventhough I have Rs.3.0 in my iciciprulife I had applied various bank loans to run my life. I am from Chennai and my branch is selaiyur. No one is coming to my rescue. Dam people if I tell them I am going to invest they will rush to my house immediately. Very poor or nil support in my case inspire of repeated followup through phone , mail etc. I had also registered my problem in Ombudsman.
Pathetic experience, for discontinued policy icici pro life deducted premium from my account. So unprofessional behavior on such deductions and then after complaining refusing to refund back in my account. This kind of keeping watch on our bank account balance and movement they agent saw amount immediately deduct amount because while policy creation I gave them permission. But I don’t understand simple rule if policy discontinue means all such permission also discontinue.
Call center/SRU consists of a bunch of agents with absolutely no service culture, just pass the buck. Harassed to no extent for the past 3 years by the base branch Chennai every time a premium is due and last 90 days by innumerous call Centre agents. Head of SRU is another live example for non -service. Even this comment will not elicit any response, I am sure of it. Am begging for my own money to be credited back so that balance payment can be made, yet thick skinned agents with no service culture haven’t responded yet.
I was treated by your staff members without humanitarianism. In order to obtain a remedy related to my policies, I have been contacting all the members but in vain. Kindly ask your renowned CEO to address my issue immediately.

Horrible Horrible customer service. They are Fraud, they have provided me misguided and mislead information on the policies for which I have suffered a loss of more than INR 33Lakhs. From past 2 years I have been complaining but I have received just the torture, mental harassment from the staff. I foreclose my ICICI Prulife policy in March 21, I have been chasing Prulife since than to make payment – so far I have sent 37 emails and 39 phone calls from UK, every time I get new story. First they said they tried to transfer the money in my NRE account but could not do it because it is frozen which is pack of lie, my account is running , then they said they sent the cheque to my India address and charged me Rs 590 which is again lie, my brother is living there and courier never tried to deliver. when I call every time I have been told that it is under process and I will receive the money within 48 hours – when that 48 hours is going to come, no one knows. I never ever seen such a bad service. Imagine if policy holder dies what chances are there for the beneficiary to get the money from this kind of company. This company should not be allowed to trade according to my honest openion.
I forgot to add above that my policy number is 19933046, I have been told so many times to send copy of my bank statement, copy of my pan card etc, which I have uploaded as well as sent but it is very clear that in Prulife left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. They don’t have the decency to reply your emails either. In which, I have opted for 72Lakhs of Life insurance coverage dated on 29-Mar-2021. But the ICICI Pru team recommended 53 Lakhs rupees updated and the same reflected in the site date on 03-Apr-2021. On top of that, the back-end team requested to share any of the collateral against the insurer name, for that copy of document shared over mail.
More than 2 months were completed and there was no action taken against them.
Repeatedly reported the same to the customer care department, but so far no action has been taken. And also I haven’t received any call-back though it was promised by the respective team.
Kindly advise at the earliest.

The premium calculated based on the revised plan 01-Apr-2021. In which 5% amount has been added and the revised proposal had been shared for 53 Lakhs rupees as “Life insurance coverage”. The revision to be done.

There was request raised on Jul 21 for the same issue over the phone and it wasn’t resolved yet ,that’s reason I’m writing mail after doing multiple escalation .Been ICICI customer more that 14 years one of worst experience i had so far and thinking to cancel all the relationship with ICICI . There was misunderstanding and miscommunications regarding issuing of this Policy within myself and our agents. I had clearly informed to the agents to invest in Fixed Deposit @ 6.37 interest as suggested by them over the phone as I need this fund in December 2022 for the property investment purpose.
However, without my proper knowledge I had signed this policy blindly assuming that I will receive the funds in December 2022.
Now, I came to know that this amount I cannot receive until my lifetime. This was not at all discussed or convinced to me.
I had requested several times to ICICI Prulife in their email ID to cancel this policy and refund to my account and till date I am receiving only different different dates for solving rather providing refund.
I am afraid, no one from Prulife concerned people called me for this issue till date.
Therefore, I humbly request your intervene in this issue and resolve to get the refund on immediate basis as I need to pay our builder for the balance amount for the invested property.
